The Blount County Extension Office will host the backyard Tomato Workshop on Thursday April 18th at the Frank Green Building. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. Program will begin at 9 A.M. The Alabama Extension Office invites you to attend a series of classes on Successful Aging. On April 5th the class is designed to help you prevent falls and will take place at the Oneonta Senior Center located at 101 1st Street . The program will begin at 9 a.m. and is recommended for anyone over 60. Bre Steel will conduct this class and can be reached at 256-294-5409.There is no charge for this class.

The Blount County Master Gardeners will hold their annual plant sale on April 22 ,2023 at the Blount County Agri-Business Center 8-a.m. to 12 p.m. or until sold out.
Back Road Park & Event Venue-Gospel Concert
The Backroad Park & Event Venue will host a Gospel Singing on Sunday April 23, 2023. Gates will open at 11 and music starts at noon. The Nelsons and the Perry’s will be the featured guest.
