Barks in the Park: Highland Lake
Please join us Otober 20, 2018 for our Barks in the Park event! We will have adoptable animals from our facility ready to be adopted. There will be Wag Walk Dog Contests (See flyer for infomation). This event will be hosted by the Lady Lakers of Highland Lake!

The Blount Oneonta Chamber will host the annual Downtown Dinner on Monday Sept. 25th. Tickets will be $40.00 and will include a fabulous 4 course dinner with great entertainment . Wine will be available to purchase. Seating is very limited. To reserve your seats call 205-274-2153.

Please join the Blountsville Library on Sept. 28th at 6:30 p.m. for An Evening with John Archibald. Tickets are $20.00 each or $38.00 per couple and must be bought in advance. Will not be sold at the door.

Blount County Master Gardeners’ Fall Conference—Oct. 12 2023
The Blount County Master Gardeners’ Fall Conference will be Thur. Oct. 12 at the Locust Fork Baptist Church. Registration will be from 8:a.m. to 8:45. Opening session 8:45 a.m. The cost will be $35.00, including lunch & snacks. The Locust Fork Baptist Church is located at 30580 AL-79 in Locust Fork. Snead Town Chili Cook – Off Sat. Oct. 28th- 9 A.M.
Peppy the Hot Pepper wants you to be a part of the Snead Town Chili Cook-Off. This event will be Sat. Oct. 28th, starting at 9 a.m. at the Snead Park. Entry Fee is $10.00! Deadline to enter is Oct. 7th. You’ll get a 1st Annual T-Shirt, covered area to work under, tables to use and serving bowls for the judges. Contest is open to all ages, but if you are under 16, you will need a parent or guardian with you. You will need to bring everything with you.
