Operation Grateful Heart Blount County and Vietnam Veteran Donnie Jackson will sponsor the Blount County Memorial Day Service on Sat. May 28th. The service will begin at 10 a.m. on the Blount County Courthouse steps located at 220 2nd Ave. East Oneonta. Snead Town Chili Cook – Off Sat. Oct. 28th- 9 A.M.
Peppy the Hot Pepper wants you to be a part of the Snead Town Chili Cook-Off. This event will be Sat. Oct. 28th, starting at 9 a.m. at the Snead Park. Entry Fee is $10.00! Deadline to enter is Oct. 7th. You’ll get a 1st Annual T-Shirt, covered area to work under, tables to use and serving bowls for the judges. Contest is open to all ages, but if you are under 16, you will need a parent or guardian with you.
