The luncheon will be at the First Baptist Church in Cleveland starting at 12 noon. The program is presented by The Friends of The Locust Fork and features Dr. Bill Deutsch, author of “Alabama Rivers-A Celebration And A Challenge”. Â Dr. Deutsch will be signing books after the program. This promises to be a very interesting program.

Snead Town Chili Cook – Off Sat. Oct. 28th- 9 A.M.
Peppy the Hot Pepper wants you to be a part of the Snead Town Chili Cook-Off. This event will be Sat. Oct. 28th, starting at 9 a.m. at the Snead Park. Entry Fee is $10.00! Deadline to enter is Oct. 7th. You’ll get a 1st Annual T-Shirt, covered area to work under, tables to use and serving bowls for the judges. Contest is open to all ages, but if you are under 16, you will need a parent or guardian with you.
