Blountsville Daffodil Festival
The Blountsville Historical Society presents the 6th Annual Daffodil Festival March 16th from 9:00 to 3:00. This event will take place at the Blountsville Historical Park at 71406 Main St. No. This park is located 2.5 miles north of traffic light in Blountsville on the right. Music of all types, chuck wagon cooking on an open fire , tours, antique cars and much more. For more info call 205-429-2468. Admission Free & $5.00 per car.

The Blount County Master Gardeners’ Fall Conference will be Thur. Oct. 12 at the Locust Fork Baptist Church. Registration will be from 8:a.m. to 8:45. Snead Town Chili Cook – Off Sat. Oct. 28th- 9 A.M.
Peppy the Hot Pepper wants you to be a part of the Snead Town Chili Cook-Off. This event will be Sat. Oct. 28th, starting at 9 a.m. at the Snead Park. Entry Fee is $10.00! Deadline to enter is Oct. 7th. You’ll get a 1st Annual T-Shirt, covered area to work under, tables to use and serving bowls for the judges. Contest is open to all ages, but if you are under 16, you will need a parent or guardian with you. You will need to bring everything with you.
