Blountsville Historical Park–Pictures with Santa

The Oneonta Fire & Rescue Service and the city of Oneonta will host the Pop Up Splash Pad event on July 24th from 4-6p.m. Attendees can enjoy the water spray from the fire hoses and visit with the firefighters.

The Blount County Historical Society will meet Sunday July 25th from 2-3 p.m. This meeting will take place at the Blount County Memorial Museum. Americana for America Scrappers , Southland Gas and the Blount Oneonta Chamber of Commerce will host Free Disposal of Electronics and Propane Tanks. This event will take place on Sat. July 31 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.in the Oneonta Public Library Parking lot. (221 2nd Street South). You will be able to dispose of your old electronics including computers and T.V.’s. Hometown Hospitality is a two hour course course designed to help participants gain a deeper understanding of the relationship between service industry entities practicing excellent customer service technique and local / regional tourism and a greater service industry revenues.
