Bulls, Broncs, Barrels
This exciting event will be Friday and Saturday, January 11-12. 2019, starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Blount County-Oneonta Agri-Business Center. Celebrate an American tradition this winter as the Lone Star Rodeo Company brings its BULLS, BRONCS, & BARRELS TOUR to the Agri-Business Center for two nights of competition. The events get underway at 7:30 p.m. including Bareback Bronc Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Brahma Bull Riding, and Cowgirls’ Barrel Racing. Added attraction will be hilarious rodeo clown the Mighty Mike Wentworth.
LOCAL COMPETITORS WELCOME
Entry fee is $65 each night. Prize money each night is $500. You can enter either one or both nights. The call-ins will be on Monday, January 7, 2019, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. CST, to Lonestar at 270-269-6000. Note: If you have a membership with the IPRA rodeos that are designated, your points will count on both standings.

Spooks At The Park! — Sat. Oct. 30th
Celebrate Halloween at the Blountsville Historical Park on Sat. Oct. 30th. Spooks at the park will began at DUSK (5-7). Visit the Haunted Cabins, share in trick or treating , pumpkin carving & apple bobbing. The Blountsville Historical Park is located North of Blountsville on Hwy. 231.

One of the biggest and best attended Christmas parades will take place Tuesday Dec. 7th at 7 p.m. The parade route will follow State Highway 75 No. to Ace Hardware. Come early to get a good vantage spot. Many restaurants will be ready to serve you. More info to follow.
