Flag Day Picnic – Blountsville Historical Park June 14th
The Blount – Oneonta Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the Flag Day Picnic on Tuesday June 14th at the Blountsville Historical Park from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. . Live music by the Possum Pickers will help us celebrate Summer in Blount County. A great BBQ dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Â Â Tickets are $15.00 and will be limited to 100 people. For tickets call the chamber office at 205-274-2153. Â Â Â The gates will open at 5:30 p.m. to allow time to tour this wonderful park.

Snead Town Chili Cook – Off Sat. Oct. 28th- 9 A.M.
Peppy the Hot Pepper wants you to be a part of the Snead Town Chili Cook-Off. This event will be Sat. Oct. 28th, starting at 9 a.m. at the Snead Park. Entry Fee is $10.00! Deadline to enter is Oct. 7th. You’ll get a 1st Annual T-Shirt, covered area to work under, tables to use and serving bowls for the judges. Contest is open to all ages, but if you are under 16, you will need a parent or guardian with you.
