Free Disposal of Electronics and Free Document Shredding brought to you by the Blount-Oneonta Chamber of Commerce, Americans for America Scrappers and Secure Shred. Everyone welcome to participate. The electronics disposal will be from 9-2 at the City Barn located at 115 Jack Fendley Drive in the parking lot next to the 9-1-1 building.Dispose of old electronics including computers a t.v.’s . If you have a major appliance you would like to have picked up directly from your house free of charge, call 205-243-7632.
Free Document Shredding from 9-noon in the parking lot of the Oneonta public Library. Please remove 3 ring binders an large metal clips. Staples and paper clips o.k.

Snead Town Chili Cook – Off Sat. Oct. 28th- 9 A.M.
Peppy the Hot Pepper wants you to be a part of the Snead Town Chili Cook-Off. This event will be Sat. Oct. 28th, starting at 9 a.m. at the Snead Park. Entry Fee is $10.00! Deadline to enter is Oct. 7th. You’ll get a 1st Annual T-Shirt, covered area to work under, tables to use and serving bowls for the judges. Contest is open to all ages, but if you are under 16, you will need a parent or guardian with you.
