Free Master Class in Ballet
Wallace State Community College is holding a Master Class in ballet this autumn to offer young people, their teachers, and parents an insight into the new WSCC dance program.
The Master Class, which will focus on “French Ballet Technique & Style,” will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 10-11:30 a.m. The class is for students aged 14 -19 years old. Dance teachers can attend and observe the class.
Following the class there will be a meet and greet information session following, with Dance instructor Brooke Desnoës from 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m., which is open to the public. Snead Town Chili Cook – Off Sat. Oct. 28th- 9 A.M.
Peppy the Hot Pepper wants you to be a part of the Snead Town Chili Cook-Off. This event will be Sat. Oct. 28th, starting at 9 a.m. at the Snead Park. Entry Fee is $10.00! Deadline to enter is Oct. 7th. You’ll get a 1st Annual T-Shirt, covered area to work under, tables to use and serving bowls for the judges. Contest is open to all ages, but if you are under 16, you will need a parent or guardian with you. You will need to bring everything with you.
