The Blount Oneonta Chamber of Commerce Down Town Dinner will be Monday Sept. 25th  at 6:30 p.m. This event will feature fabulous food, wonderful entertainment and great net working opportunities. The Blount County Master Gardeners’ Fall Conference will be Thur. Oct. 12 at the Locust Fork Baptist Church. Registration will be from 8:a.m. to 8:45. The Blount County Quilters Guild invite you to attend the Annual Quilt Show on Oct. 13th & 14th , 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. .This event will take place at the Quilters Guild Cottage at Palisades Park.

Peppy the Hot Pepper wants you to be a part of the Snead Town Chili Cook-Off. This event will be Sat. Oct. 28th, starting at 9 a.m. at the Snead Park. Entry Fee is $10.00! Deadline to enter is Oct. 7th. You’ll get a 1st Annual  T-Shirt, covered area to work under, tables to use and serving bowls for the judges. Contest is open to all ages, but if you are under 16, you will need a parent or guardian with you.
