Job Success Program July 13th
The Al Cooperative Extension System,Blount County Office, and the Blount County -Oneonta Chamber of Commerce invite you to attend the Job Success Program. This program consist of four parts and is designed to improv the basic soft skills of current and prospective employees. Topics include self-management, decision making, time management, communication and team work.The classes will be Tuesday July 13, Thursday July 15, TuesdayJuly20th and Thursday July 22. The time will be 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. ALL classes are FREE. These classes will be held at the Blount County-Oneonta Chamber of Commerce located at 110 1st Ave. East, Oneonta.To register call the chamber office @205-274-2153. Snead Town Chili Cook – Off Sat. Oct. 28th- 9 A.M.
Peppy the Hot Pepper wants you to be a part of the Snead Town Chili Cook-Off. This event will be Sat. Oct. 28th, starting at 9 a.m. at the Snead Park. Entry Fee is $10.00! Deadline to enter is Oct. 7th. You’ll get a 1st Annual T-Shirt, covered area to work under, tables to use and serving bowls for the judges. Contest is open to all ages, but if you are under 16, you will need a parent or guardian with you.
