Mitchell Market —Friday Nov. 12 & Sat. Nov.13th
This will be a holiday -themed  event featuring retail, furniture, artisan and food vendors. Shoppers will be able to stroll through the barns and stables as they peruse the many items that will be available for purchase. The Gilmer Family is hosting this event as a way to  reintroduce historic Mitchell Farms. Price for admission will be $10.00 , there will be parking and shuttle service. Tickets can be purchased at the gate.Santa will be there from 10 a.m. until 2 on Saturday.

Snead Town Chili Cook – Off Sat. Oct. 28th- 9 A.M.
Peppy the Hot Pepper wants you to be a part of the Snead Town Chili Cook-Off. This event will be Sat. Oct. 28th, starting at 9 a.m. at the Snead Park. Entry Fee is $10.00! Deadline to enter is Oct. 7th. You’ll get a 1st Annual T-Shirt, covered area to work under, tables to use and serving bowls for the judges. Contest is open to all ages, but if you are under 16, you will need a parent or guardian with you.
