Open House Blount County- Oneonta Chamber of Commerce Thursday June 24
Food and fun for everyone at the new Blount County -Oneonta Chamber of Commerce Office. Thursday June 24th from 11 to 6 P.M. The new home of the Chamber of Commerce is located at 110 1st Ave. East. This historic building will be open for your visit from 11-6 with Hometown Bowls providing a treat for you from 11-1. Food , music and door prizes will be available.

The Alabama Extension Office invites you to attend a series of classes on Successful Aging. On April 5th the class is designed to help you prevent falls and will take place at the Oneonta Senior Center located at 101 1st Street . The program will begin at 9 a.m. and is recommended for anyone over 60. Bre Steel will conduct this class and can be reached at 256-294-5409.There is no charge for this class.

Blount County Master Gardener Annual Plant Sale —8a.m.-12 p.m.
The Blount County Master Gardeners will hold their annual plant sale on April 22 ,2023 at the Blount County Agri-Business Center 8-a.m. to 12 p.m. or until sold out.
Back Road Park & Event Venue-Gospel Concert
The Backroad Park & Event Venue will host a Gospel Singing on Sunday April 23, 2023. Gates will open at 11 and music starts at noon. The Nelsons and the Perry’s will be the featured guest. CITY NIGHT MARKET of ONEONTA offers local farmers, specialty food vendors and makers of Artisanal items the opportunity to show off. Oneonta will host 25/30 entrepreneurs downtown by the Gazebo.
