Parade of Lights: 2018 Blount County Christmas Parade
The 2018 Blount County Christmas Parade, sponsored by MainStreet Family Care – Oneonta, is scheduled for December 8th at 5:00 pm in Oneonta. Our theme this year is “Parade of Lights”, so start your creative juices flowing! We are very excited for another great parade.
This year we will be offering CASH PRIZES for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of our non-profit float entries! Applications will be available after the Covered Bridge Festival.

Snead Town Chili Cook – Off Sat. Oct. 28th- 9 A.M.
Peppy the Hot Pepper wants you to be a part of the Snead Town Chili Cook-Off. This event will be Sat. Oct. 28th, starting at 9 a.m. at the Snead Park. Entry Fee is $10.00! Deadline to enter is Oct. 7th. You’ll get a 1st Annual T-Shirt, covered area to work under, tables to use and serving bowls for the judges. Contest is open to all ages, but if you are under 16, you will need a parent or guardian with you.
