Shred – Fest Thursday July 30th
The Blount County – Oneonta  Chamber of Commerce will host Shred- Fest  on Thursday July 30th, in the parking lot of the Oneonta Public Library. You are encouraged to bring unwanted papers and documents to be securely shredded. You may bring up to three- copy- paper size boxes or three bags. Paper clip and staples can remain on the documents ,but large binder clips will need to be removed.  Secure shred will be on site from 11 a.m. until 1p.m.  For more info contact the Chamber office at 205-274-2153.

Snead Town Chili Cook – Off Sat. Oct. 28th- 9 A.M.
Peppy the Hot Pepper wants you to be a part of the Snead Town Chili Cook-Off. This event will be Sat. Oct. 28th, starting at 9 a.m. at the Snead Park. Entry Fee is $10.00! Deadline to enter is Oct. 7th. You’ll get a 1st Annual T-Shirt, covered area to work under, tables to use and serving bowls for the judges. Contest is open to all ages, but if you are under 16, you will need a parent or guardian with you.
