Successful Aging Initiative — July 5th

The Alabama Extension Office invites you to attend a series of classes on Successful Aging. On April 5th the class is designed to help you prevent falls and will take place at the Oneonta Senior Center located at 101 1st Street . The program will begin at 9 a.m. and is recommended for anyone over 60. Bre Steel will conduct this class and can be reached at 256-294-5409.There is no charge for this class.

The Whole  Backstage will present You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown April 14th -23 at the Whole Backstage Theatre located at 1120 Rayburn Ave. Guntersville, Al. For ticket info and curtain times call 256-582-7469.

The Blount County Master Gardeners will hold their annual plant sale on April 22 ,2023 at the Blount County Agri-Business Center 8-a.m. to 12 p.m. or until sold out.

The Backroad Park & Event Venue will host a Gospel Singing on Sunday April 23, 2023. Gates will open at 11 and music starts at noon. The Nelsons and the Perry’s will be the featured guest. The Alabama A&M & Auburn Universities invite you to attend a series of classes helping older adults maintain their quality of life. On May 3rd the topic will be Healthy Aging. Bre Steele will be the guest speaker at the Oneonta Senior Center located at 101 1st Street So. Oneonta Business Association will host the 21st Annual June Fling on June 9th 7-9 in Historical Downtown Oneonta. Vendor registrations starts Jan. 1st 2023. On June 9th from 7-9 the Sweet Tea Trio will preform. Sat.
