Swann Covered Bridge Hike
Saturday, October 27, at 9:30 am. Led by Sam Howell, a group will walk along the Locust Fork River from Swann Covered Bridge to Powell Falls. Easy to moderate hike. Tom Gordon, amateur photographer, will provide tips on taking great photos! Register at www.flfr.org. After the hike, enjoy the Covered Bridge Festival!

Snead Town Chili Cook – Off Sat. Oct. 28th- 9 A.M.
Peppy the Hot Pepper wants you to be a part of the Snead Town Chili Cook-Off. This event will be Sat. Oct. 28th, starting at 9 a.m. at the Snead Park. Entry Fee is $10.00! Deadline to enter is Oct. 7th. You’ll get a 1st Annual T-Shirt, covered area to work under, tables to use and serving bowls for the judges. Contest is open to all ages, but if you are under 16, you will need a parent or guardian with you. You will need to bring everything with you.
