The National Day of Prayer Rally —- Thursday May 6th
The National Day of Prayer Rally will be Thursday May 6th ,at noon, on the steps at the Blount County Courthouse steps. Lunch will be provided immediately following the rally in the fellowship hall at the 1st Baptist Church. In case of bad weather the rally will be moved to the 1st Baptist Church. The theme for this year is “Love, Life, and Liberty in America.

Snead Town Chili Cook – Off Sat. Oct. 28th- 9 A.M.
Peppy the Hot Pepper wants you to be a part of the Snead Town Chili Cook-Off. This event will be Sat. Oct. 28th, starting at 9 a.m. at the Snead Park. Entry Fee is $10.00! Deadline to enter is Oct. 7th. You’ll get a 1st Annual T-Shirt, covered area to work under, tables to use and serving bowls for the judges. Contest is open to all ages, but if you are under 16, you will need a parent or guardian with you.
