
TLC Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting
A grand opening date and ribbon cutting for TLC’s new 3+ million-dollar therapy wing expansion is set for Thursday, November 15thfrom 11AM until 1PM at TLC Nursing Center, located at 212 Ellen Street Oneonta, AL 35121.
The new state-of-the-art addition includes fourteen spacious, luxury private rooms with private showers and baths, new furnishings and flat screen TVs. Nursing Home Administrator, Pam Vogt, anticipates great things out of the new facility. “It’s an exciting time for TLC Nursing Center as we prepare for the grand opening of our new 12,000 square foot addition and the deployment of the state-of-the-art overhead Track Lift System.”
The new short-term rehabilitation wing will usher in a new era of short-term care for residents in Central Alabama. Chamber President, Barbara Andersen, says, “TLC is a major employer in our community and this expansion will only serve to increase their impact on our local economy and job market.” City Manager, Ed Lowe, echoes Andersen’s comment and adds, “It’s an exciting time in our city and it’s great to see a local business investing in expansions.”
Since the remodel and addition, TLC now has a total of 27 private rooms and a 2,000 square foot therapy gym. Feel free to reach out for a tour.
The grand opening will include lunch and the public is encouraged to attend.

The Blount County /Oneonta Chamber of Commerce has scheduled Secure Shred to have a truck ready for drop offs on April 23 from 10:00 am until 1:00p.m.in the Oneonta Public Library parking lot.
