The Veterans’ Park Fundraiser Yard Sale—- Friday & Saturday June 17th & 18th —8 a.m. to 3 p.m.will be located at the Blount County Agri Business Center , 500 New Street, Oneonta , Al. Clean out your closets and sell your treasures. Only booth rental fees go toward the building of Blount County Veterans’ Memorial Park to be located at Palisades Park. Booth Rental space $25.00 ( you must provide tables and chairs). YOU keep 100% of proceeds from sales. Registration is required. Space is limited so reserve your spot today!!! The Blount County Master Gardeners’ Fall Conference will be Thur. Oct. 12 at the Locust Fork Baptist Church. Registration will be from 8:a.m. to 8:45. Snead Town Chili Cook – Off Sat. Oct. 28th- 9 A.M.
Peppy the Hot Pepper wants you to be a part of the Snead Town Chili Cook-Off. This event will be Sat. Oct. 28th, starting at 9 a.m. at the Snead Park. Entry Fee is $10.00! Deadline to enter is Oct. 7th. You’ll get a 1st Annual T-Shirt, covered area to work under, tables to use and serving bowls for the judges. Contest is open to all ages, but if you are under 16, you will need a parent or guardian with you. You will need to bring everything with you.
